Scott Eldredge, ACSW, MPHA Clinical Supervisor

Scott works with adults of all ages, couples, teens, and families. He began his career in 1982 and returned to Buxmont Counseling Center in 2022 after previously counseling there from 1996 to 1999.

Scott has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, family and marital issues, grief and loss, anger, pornography struggles, gender identity concerns, and parenting challenges. He also enjoys working with teens and assisting churches and leaders in processing abuse and conflicts.

As a Level 2 Gottman-trained therapist, Scott uses a mediating model and a systems approach in his counseling, particularly with couples.

He holds a BSW, BS in Psychology, and BS in Sociology from Eastern Mennonite University, an MSW from Marywood College, and a Master’s in Public Health Administration from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Scott has been a Licensed Social Worker and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1987.

Scott has also served as clinical staff with Langberg Monroe Associates and previously worked with Dr. William Kelly in Colmar, PA.

What Scott loves most about counseling is the privilege of walking with people through challenging relationships and life situations, helping them discern God’s voice and find comfort even in the midst of painful experiences.

Jessica Greaser, MA, LPC-A Clinical Director

Jessica counsels adolescents, young adults, adults, engaged couples, and families. Since starting her career in 2016, she has focused on helping clients navigate anxiety, identity struggles, loss and grief, family dynamics, and relationship challenges, as well as disability-related issues.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in an integrated bio-psycho-social-spiritual framework, drawing from cognitive, behavioral, and internal family systems models to support holistic healing. Jessica earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary in 2016 and completed internships at Vantage, her seminary's counseling office, and Buxmont Counseling Center, where she began as an intern in 2015.

With over 20 years of experience working with students and families in church ministry, Jessica loves being a safe and reliable presence for people during vulnerable times. She feels honored to witness the healing and transformation in her clients' lives.

Keara McDevitt, MSW, LSW Counselor & Special Projects Coordinator

Keara primarily works with teenagers, young adults and adults, specializing in issues such as anxiety, depression, family and relationship challenges, identity, boundaries, and life transitions. She started counseling at Buxmont Counseling Center in 2022.

Keara adopts a client-centered and a systems-based approach to therapy, recognizing how various systems impact experiences and prioritizing clients’ choice and perspective. She utilizes a trauma-informed approach, creating a safe and compassionate space to process hurt. She integrates cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, adapting to each client’s needs.

Keara holds a BSW from Messiah University and an MSW from Temple University. She earned her LSW in PA and NJ. Her past experience includes working with individuals experiencing poverty at New Hope Ministries and serving as a Victim Advocate with the Cumberland County District Attorney, gaining firsthand experience with trauma.

Keara is working towards certifications in Trust-Based Relational Therapy (TBRI), Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapies (Parts Work), training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and her clinical license.

Keara loves building meaningful connections with others as they explore their thought patterns and navigate life's hills and valleys. She values creating an emotional and physical space for people to lay down their burdens, reflecting the invitation described in Matthew 11:29, “Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls".

Josh Butala, MA, LPC Counselor & Special Projects Coordinator

Josh works with adolescents, young adults, adults, families, engaged couples, and couples. He began his counseling career in 2021 and joined Buxmont Counseling Center in 2023.

Josh has experience treating issues such as anxiety, relationship challenges, phase-of-life transitions, building resiliency, and value-based living. His integrative approach is tailored to each client’s needs, using techniques like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Josh previously worked as a Student Assistance Program (SAP) Counselor in the North Penn and Souderton School Districts.

What Josh loves most about counseling is being able to meet clients where they are in their journey and walk with them toward a healthier, more meaningful future.

 

Debbie Eckert, MSW, LSW Counselor

Debbie works with children, adolescents, young adults, and individuals, drawing on her extensive experience in both social work and behavioral health. She began her career in 2002 and transitioned to Behavioral Health in 2017. Debbie joined Buxmont Counseling Center in 2023.

Specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, divorce, foster care, and adoption, Debbie is also skilled in supporting students with school-related challenges, such as anxiety and truancy. Her trauma-informed approach emphasizes her clients' strengths and utilizes supportive systems to help them heal.

Debbie is a licensed social worker with bachelor’s degrees in Bible and Social Work from Cairn University and a master’s degree in Social Work from Campbellsville University. Her background includes work as an Intensive Services Caseworker for Bucks County Children and Youth, as a foster parent with Bethany Christian Services, and supporting children impacted by trauma and mental health challenges at Lakeside’s Souderton Vantage Academy. She also volunteers at Living Streams Ranch, a Christian mentorship program that uses horses to help women and children recover from trauma.

Debbie’s holistic approach recognizes the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual health. She is open to praying with clients and helping them experience the transformative power of God’s love in their healing journey.

Sharon Mangum, MA, LPC-A Counselor

Sharon counsels individuals of all ages, from children to adults, and has been with Buxmont Counseling Center since 2023. She has extensive experience addressing anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, and mental health struggles related to immigration and cross-cultural adjustment.

Sharon is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and a certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioner. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and has been working in the field since 2012.

Her past clinical experience includes providing counseling in Spanish for children, teens, and adults at The Place of Refuge (2011-2013) and offering member care at Safe Place, LLC, since 2019. She supports individuals in both English and Spanish, helping them process life transitions and emotional struggles.

Sharon is passionate about creating a safe space for clients to process their stories in their native "heart" language, whether in English, Spanish, or both.

Maria Vincent, MA, LAMFT Counselor

Maria works with a diverse range of clients, including young adults, adults, later-in-life adults, married couples, families, individuals who are divorced, and those in recovery. She began her counseling career in 2022 and joined Buxmont Counseling Center in 2024.

Maria has experience addressing a variety of challenges, such as parenting issues, behavioral concerns, anxiety, depression, identity struggles, self-esteem, anger management, fertility issues, grief and loss, family or relationship dynamics, disabilities, attention issues, divorce, and recovery from addiction.

In her practice, Maria employs several therapeutic models, including Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She also specializes in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) for couples.

Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southern Connecticut State University and is an associate license holder, currently working towards full licensure. Her clinical background includes work at the Christian Counseling Center of Norwalk, CT, where she served as an intern and later as an Associate MFT. She also co-facilitated a Grief Share group in 2022.

Maria is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients, helping them make meaningful changes. She begins each session with prayer, inviting the Holy Spirit to guide the process and give her clients the courage to explore their inner selves and grow. She finds it deeply rewarding to witness their transformation and healing through therapy.

Carol Boyd, MA Counselor

Carol works with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, children, engaged couples, families, new parents, married couples, and young adults. She began her career as a Crisis Counselor in 2012 and has been with Buxmont Counseling Center since 2018.

Carol has experience treating various issues, such as anxiety, depression, family conflicts, grief, parenting challenges, and relationship issues. She uses a range of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and active listening. Carol also teaches coping skills, helps clients identify their Love Languages, and provides resources for healing and growth.

Carol earned her MA in Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary in 2012 and is currently working toward licensure. She also holds a certificate in Managing Anxiety and Mental Health with a focus on CBT.

Carol’s professional background includes roles at Buxmont Counseling Center and previously at Lakeside Vantage Academy. She has also mentored individuals through Bridge of Hope and the Central Bucks School District.

What Carol loves most about being a counselor is helping clients cope with life's challenges and guiding them toward healing. She has a passion for exploring how technology, medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle impact mental health and strives to help clients experience the transformative power of God’s love in their lives.

 

Hazel Matlack, MA Counselor

Hazel works with adult women, married couples, and senior citizens. She began her counseling career in 1998 and has been a dedicated counselor at Buxmont Counseling Center since that time.

Hazel specializes in helping clients navigate relationship issues, anxiety, depression, anger, grief, family of origin dynamics, and spiritual concerns. Her approach is centered around being a supportive and attentive listener.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University), earned in 1997. With over 20 years of experience, Hazel works with married and pre-marital couples, helping them develop communication skills, resolve conflicts, build healthy intimacy, and grow spiritually.

What Hazel loves most about being a counselor is witnessing God’s transformative work in the hearts and minds of her clients. She finds great joy in seeing their thinking and behaviors shift over time. Hazel is guided by the promise in Isaiah 46:4: "I made you and I will take care of you. I will give you help and I will rescue you."




Jen Emery, MA Counselor

Jen has been working as a counselor since 1995, serving adolescents, young adults, and adults. She first joined Buxmont Counseling Center in 2008 and returned in 2022. Jen specializes in treating anxiety, self-esteem issues, and health concerns related to nutrition and food addiction. She is also passionate about helping those who are navigating the challenges of loved ones who have strayed from their faith or values, often referred to as "prodigals."

Her approach is deeply rooted in biblical principles, integrating spiritual guidance to help clients overcome life's challenges. Jen earned her Master’s in Christian Counseling from Cairn University in 1996. Her previous clinical experience includes working as a counselor and case manager at Lakeside School, where she supported students and families from 1995 to 2013.

What Jen loves most about her work is meeting people where they are and affirming their worth in God's eyes. She finds joy in helping clients realize their purpose, and experiencing the life-changing freedom that comes from surrendering to God's plan.

Tedd Bradford, MA Counselor

Tedd works with families, couples, and individuals. He began his counseling career in 1993 and has been serving the community ever since, including 20 years at the Penn Foundation in Sellersville.

Tedd specializes in family counseling and also offers individual and couples counseling. He earned his MA in Counseling from Biblical Seminary in Hatfield in 1993 and brings a wealth of clinical and life experience to his practice.

What Tedd enjoys most about being a counselor is interacting with clients and offering support as they take meaningful steps toward improving their lives. On a personal note, Tedd has been married for over 30 years, has four children and is a proud grandfather to three grandchildren.

Andie Farnham, MSW, LCSW Counselor

Andie counsels adolescents, young adults, adults, older adults, and individuals. She began her career in behavioral health in 2019 and started counseling at Buxmont Counseling Center in 2024.

Andie has experience working with clients facing anxiety, complex medical issues, cancer, depression, women’s issues, caregiving challenges, end-of-life concerns, and disabilities. She provides Christ-centered counseling, incorporating techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.

Andie holds an MSW from Campbellsville University (2019) and earned her LCSW in January 2024. Her clinical background includes working at Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital, Indian Creek Foundation, Lansdale Hospital, and Jefferson Health-Asplundh Cancer Pavilion. She has supported individuals and their families through crises, end-of-life transitions, and cancer treatments, providing both emotional regulation and counseling.

What Andie loves most about being a counselor is the opportunity to journey with people through life’s challenges, offering support, reflection, and coping strategies. As a Christian counselor, she is passionate about exploring how the Gospel speaks to life’s hurts and struggles, applying God’s wisdom to help individuals overcome their deepest challenges.

 

Isabel Linder Spanish Language Coordinator

Isabel joined Buxmont Counseling in June of 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Franco Mexican University (Universidad Franco Mexicana), part of La Salle in Mexico. During her internship at the Women’s Clinic in Mexico City, Isabel worked with military wives facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, breast cancer, AIDS, and premature births.

As Buxmont's Spanish Language Coordinator, Isabel plays a vital role in supporting the Hispanic community by facilitating mental health counseling with counselors in Spanish. She manages Spanish speaking consultation calls, appointment scheduling, and outreach to local churches, and also handles translations. Isabel is currently pursuing her certification in Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI).

Passionate about helping others under the guidance of Jesus, Isabel is dedicated to making a positive impact in people’s lives. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting and spending time with her family, and she is grateful for the blessings Jesus has brought into her life.

Staci Landis Administrative Assistant

Staci began working at Buxmont Counseling in early 2023 as an Administrative Assistant. She is the main contact for the office, managing all email correspondence, counseling inquiries, billing, and office scheduling. Staci ensures clients feel welcomed and cared for through compassionate communication and by creating a warm, hospitable environment in the office.

With a degree in Early Childhood Education, Staci has a background in teaching pre-kindergarten and working in Special Education within an Autism Program. She has also served as an administrator at a Christian radio station before homeschooling her children. For over a decade, she and her husband, Tim, ran a photography business that expanded into brand marketing, tourism, and missions work. Their family traveled globally, and her husband now serves as Director of Communications for Farms International.

Staci is passionate about seeing marriages and families strengthened and renewed in Christ. Rooted in the truth of Ephesians 2:8-10, she believes that by grace, we are saved through faith, and that God has created us for good works in Christ Jesus. Staci is dedicated to serving the Lord in every aspect of her life, seeking to live out biblical truth and love while encouraging others as they grow in wisdom and in their understanding of Scripture and God.
